FNB Bank is proud to welcome Wes Spencer as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Mayfield Main Office, located at 101 East Broadway, Mayfield, KY.

Wes brings with him an extensive IT background from Murray State University wherein he has served as an Information Security Instructor and Network Administrator. In addition, Wes is no stranger to FNB, both from a professional and personal standpoint. Initially, Wes was a customer of the bank and was later hired in January 2014 as an IT Consultant. “I was first introduced to FNB Bank in 2013 when we purchased our home. I was blown away by the exceptional customer service and care I received,” stated Spencer. “I am thrilled to have such a wonderful opportunity to serve the community of western Kentucky in the same manner I received as a customer of FNB Bank.”

In his new role, Wes will continue at FNB with his main focus of aligning technology with the overall business strategy within the bank. His responsibilities will consist of managing and implementing new products and programs to serve and further enable customers, while ensuring that information security remains a top priority within the bank.

Wes is a native of Calloway County and serves on the Board of Directors for New Covenant Christian Academy and is a deacon at Hardin Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunications Systems Management. Wes and his wife, Laura have three children, Will, 5; Lydia, 3; and Nolan, 1 and reside in Almo, KY.
