MURRAY-CALLOWAY COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NEWEST GOLD SPONSOR: FNB BANK, INC.
The Murray-Calloway County Community Foundation today announced FNB Bank, Inc. is a Gold Sponsor of its “Create Your Community Legacy” campaign.

Funds from FNB Bank, Inc.’s sponsorship – in addition to sponsorships from other organizations – will be used to educate the community and promote the Foundation through an 18-month campaign.

The goal of the campaign, “Create Your Community Legacy,” is to educate members of the community about endowments and how they can positively impact the community now and for generations to come in perpetuity.

“We are proud to announce FNB Bank, Inc. as a Gold Sponsor,” said Harold Hurt, MCC Community Foundation President. “FNB understands the importance of a community foundation, and how endowed funds will benefit local organizations now and for all generations to come.”

“FNB immediately responded to our request to become a sponsor of our campaign. Their sponsorship is indicative of their commitment to our community, both now and for the future.

Lori Noel, FNB Bank, Inc. Senior Vice President, echoed Hurt’s comments.

“FNB is a community bank with local priorities,” Noel said. “Our goal is to support initiatives that make a difference in the lives of our community members.  We are confident that our partnership with the “Create Your Community Legacy” campaign will accomplish just that.”

The Community Foundation is currently seeking sponsors to help make the education and promotion campaign possible. One Title Sponsorship opportunity is available with a $10,000 donation. In addition, the Community Foundation is working with local businesses to secure Platinum Sponsors ($5,000 contribution) and Gold Sponsors ($2,500 contribution).

“We have been very encouraged by the response we’ve received from local businesses thus far,” said Hurt. “Businesses value local organizations and want to see our community continue to grow and prosper, for the benefit of our children, grandchildren and other members of our community.”

The MCC Community Foundation will use Sponsor’s funds to fund the campaign’s progress through newspaper ads and printed materials, and host campaign events to educate community members of the needs and benefits of endowments and to recognize its established endowments and their donors.

As a part of the campaign, the Foundation will be featuring its Founders Program which will close at the end of the campaign. This will be the last opportunity for individuals, couples, businesses, churches, non-profit organizations and anyone else to become a Founder of the Foundation. The Foundation will always recognize those Founders that make it possible for the Foundation to get started.
