FNB Donates Computers to Healing Hands

computer-donation-healing-handsFNB Bank donated over 70 desktop computers, along with monitors and accessories to Healing Hands International (HHI), a non-profit organization based in Nashville, TN.  The donation drive is part of a partnership with KeeFORCE, from Symsonia, KY, that is taking place throughout the Purchase Region.

“Over the past couple of years, FNB has had the wonderful opportunity to help many local organizations and non-profits with similar computer and equipment donations,” stated Brooke Wiles, Marketing Coordinator.  “This is just another way we can make a powerful impact on those in need in other countries, while disposing of computers that we no longer need in a safe and secure manner.”

The donation is a result of FNB’s recent bank wide computer upgrade in September 2012.  FNB’s IT Department prepared the computers for the donation and cleared past data as directed by the guidelines set forth by United States Department of Defense.

The used computers and equipment will be utilized in schools and orphanages in various Third World countries to teach orphans and women key business skills.  The computers provide an opportunity for the recipients to learn a way to support themselves and achieve a level of business success that they would never reach otherwise.

FNB Trigg County Spirit Debit Card 3rd Quarter Reward TotalFNB Bank is pleased to announce that they donated $1,584.70 to Trigg County Schools in October for the FNB Trigg County Spirit Debit Card reward program.  The new reward total reflects the third quarter (July, August and September) qualifying transactions that were made with the card.

The FNB Spirit Debit Card rewards program allows FNB customers the opportunity to give back to Trigg County Schools when they use their debit card.  The Spirit Card works with eligible FNB checking accounts and functions just like a normal debit card; however the only difference is it earns money for the schools.  FNB will donate $0.10 to the schools for each signature-based transaction (not using your PIN) at no cost to the customer.  The school system receives the donated funds on a quarterly basis and is utilized at their discretion.  FNB also offers the Spirit Debit Card for Mayfield, Graves County and Lone Oak Schools.
